To reserve a tour with the company, a non-refundable deposit of either $200 or 10% of the tour cost is required. The total balance is due three weeks before departure. Any additional expenses incurred after the price has been fixed will be charged to the client.

Cancellation Policy

If a cancellation is made three weeks prior to departure, the deposit is non-refundable. Within three weeks, 50% or less of the deposit is non-refundable. Once the tour begins, 100% of the payment is non-refundable. Unused services are not eligible for a refund.

While Trans Karakoram Treks & Tours aims to provide accurate itineraries, the company reserves the right to make changes due to unfavourable circumstances. In such cases, similar alternatives will be provided. Changes to the itinerary can be made before the final booking.

On treks and safaris, the baggage allowance is 20kg, while expeditions allow 50kg.

While the company strives to provide secure and comfortable tours, it cannot be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, delays, or public disturbances beyond its control.

Clients are advised to purchase travel insurance in their home country as foreigners cannot purchase insurance in Pakistan. Trekking, expeditions, tours, and safaris carry inherent risks and factors beyond our control, such as medical emergencies and natural calamities. Clients should be insured against helicopter evacuations, trip cancellations, and personal accidents.

Please note that the company will not provide compensation or bear any losses if the guest’s insurance does not cover any or all aspects of the trip.
