Machulu La K2 view point Trek

Humbroq is the summer pasture place of Hushe village, is the nearest place from where you can see K2 and other peaks of Karakoram mountains. The trekking of Humbroq is about 4 to 5 hours hike from Hushe village. The basecamp of the pasture is surrounded with lush green, and mountains, where the villagers keep their animal in summer. You will also interact with the locals at the basecamp, after reaching basecamp Trans Karakoram staff prepare campsite, after visiting surroundings night stay over basecamp. In the next morning we will hike to the view point of K2, from there you will encounter with K2 very closely, and also other giants of Karakoram mountains. After some rest we will back to the basecamp. The route of the trek is moderate and steep. The journey of this trek starts from Islamabad, then a scenic flight to Skardu valley, then drive to Hushe village through the scenic beauty of Khaplu valley while to Hushe you will encounter the most beautiful Haldi cones, after the preparation and rest in Hushe early morning trek starts to Humbroq basecamp.

Itinerary

Day 1: Islamabad arrival and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Flight to Skardu.

Flight depend on subject to weather, in case of flight cancellation, dive to Chilas.

Day3: Acclimatization and rest day in Skardu.

Preparation and some documentation in Skardu.

Day 4: Drive to Hushe.

Hushe the last place accessible by jeep.

Day 5: Trek to Hunbroq.

After reaching basecamp our staff ready the campsite and stay overnight.

Day 6: After breakfast hike to K2 view point, and return to basecamp.

Day 7: Trek back to Hushe.

Day 8: Drive to Skardu.

Debriefing in Skardu.

Day 9: Flight to Islamabad or drive to Chilas.

Day 10: Flight to home country with memorable journey.
