Also known as “The Land of Giants” is the 2nd highest plateau in the world, stands at the elevation of 4,114 meter above the sea level. Deosai is located east of Nanga Parbat in the northern area of Pakistan. It si renowned for its natural beauty, vast grassy land, lakes, array of wild flowers. Deosai is also the home of numerous wild animal like Himalayan brown bear, ibex, marmot and snow trout and other animals. Deosai is also known for its biogeographical province merge of Himalaya and Karakoram range.

Trek to Nangma Valley

The trek to Nangma Valley is an easy and short one but rewarding. From Kandey village to Nangma, it’s a two-day trek. On the first day, trek from Kandey to Mingulu, and on the second day, proceed to Nangma Valley. After one rest day at basecamp, trek back to Kandey, then drive to Skardu.

Itinerary of the Trek

Day 1: Islamabad Arrival

Our staff welcomes you at Islamabad International Airport.

Day 2: Flight to Skardu

Fly above the Karakoram mountains, offering scenic views.

Day 3: Trek to Deosai

Trek through Burghai Nalaa to Deosai.

Day 4: Rest Day in Deosai

Day 5: Drive to Khaplu from Deosai

After Deosai, the journey will move towards Nangma.

Day 6: Trek to Mingulu

Trek to Mingulu.

Day 7: Trek to Nangma Valley

Proceed with the trek to Nangma Valley.

Day 8: Rest Day at Basecamp

Day 9: Trek Back to Kandey and Drive to Skardu

Day 10: Fly to Islamabad

Day 11: Fly to Home Country

A memorable journey ends with Trans Karakoram.
